Are you game?

aka the very strange, yet pretty much true connection between people, games and relationships...

The most basic thing that you learn even before being able to walk or even talk is how to play and although the toys and the rules change, in the end the game is something that fascinates us for our entire lives...

Relationships and games? Well, relationships are games, at least in the beggining...The chasing, the strategy, the testing ground, the defining, the next step, the next level, until you can manage to win or to lose a friend, a lover, an enemy...And sometimes they never finish... But most of the times it's not all about the win or the loss, it's more about the journey and sometimes you can give up along the way...

People are different and they obviously like different games, some of them might like playing more than others, some consider that only one part of the game is important, some have the neccessary patience to make up strategy, some get bored quickly, some expect for things to happen, some make them happen and I couldn't say what is wrong and what is right, as in contrast with the other games this particular one has no common rules. Maybe that makes it more interesting...

Me? I am a player like everyone else, but it depends on who asks if I am game. It's hard to get me interested and even harder to maintain my interest...I am not patient, I would most of the time get bored if the things are not moving fast and rather go play the same game with somebody else...same game, new approaches...either way it might be that the beggining is a game, but after that is the hard core level: the real life...do you have what it takes to play that?
